How to Create an Email Account in cPanel Print

  • 2

If your Papsoo Digital hosting service includes email hosting, you can create professional email addresses using your own domain name.

For example:

info@yourdomain.com
support@yourdomain.com
billing@yourdomain.com

Follow the steps below to create a new email account through cPanel.

Log In to cPanel Through Your Papsoo Digital Account

  1. Go to the Papsoo Digital Client Portal:

    https://portal.digital.papsoo.com

  2. Log in to your Papsoo Digital account.
  3. From the Client Area, click Services.
  4. Click My Services to view the services associated with your account.
  5. Select the hosting service associated with the domain where you want to create the email address.
  6. On the service details page, look at the menu on the left side of the screen.
  7. Click Log in to cPanel.

You will be redirected to the cPanel dashboard for your hosting account.

Create a New Email Account

Once you are inside cPanel:

  1. Locate the Email section.
  2. Click Email Accounts.
  3. Click Create.
  4. If your hosting account contains more than one domain, choose the Domain you want to use for the new email account.
  5. In the Username field, enter the name you want to use for the email address.

    For example, entering:

    info

for the domain yourdomain.com will create:

    info@yourdomain.com

  6. Create a secure password for the email account.

You may also use cPanel's password generator to create a strong password.

  7. Review any available storage or account settings.
  8. Click Create.

Your new email account will now appear under Email Accounts in cPanel. cPanel's current Email Accounts interface uses this Email → Email Accounts → Create process for new mailboxes.

Choosing a Good Email Address

For business email accounts, use names that are easy for customers and employees to recognize.

Common examples include:

  • info@yourdomain.com — General inquiries
  • support@yourdomain.com — Customer support
  • billing@yourdomain.com — Billing questions
  • sales@yourdomain.com — Sales inquiries
  • contact@yourdomain.com — General contact
  • firstname@yourdomain.com — Individual employee accounts

Avoid email addresses that are unnecessarily long or difficult to remember.

Create a Strong Password

Your email password should be difficult for someone else to guess.

We recommend using:

  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters
  • A password that is unique to this email account

Do not reuse passwords from other websites or services.

Access the New Email Account

After creating the account:

  1. Stay on the Email Accounts page.
  2. Locate the newly created email address.
  3. Click Check Email.
  4. Open the Webmail interface.

You can now begin sending and receiving messages from the new email address.

Keep the Login Information Secure

If you are creating the email account for an employee or another authorized user, provide them with:

  • The full email address
  • The temporary or assigned password
  • Instructions for accessing Webmail

Do not send passwords through unsecured or publicly accessible communication methods.

If a password needs to be changed later, return to:

cPanel → Email → Email Accounts → Manage
